Our Fundamental Aims:

• To provide a safe space where our children will feel held in mind and valued as individuals

• To work in partnership with our children, their families and stakeholders in providing the opportunities for our children and young people to develop and improve their self-esteem, identity and self-perception.

• To promote the educational and career aspirations of our children in partnership with their families, Virtual schools of the placing authorities and other professionals.

• To promote a healthy lifestyle and fully meet our children’s individual health, emotional and mental health needs

• To promote the individual expectations and aspirations of our children and young people with regards to their cultural, sexual, educational, ethnic identity and special needs

• To provide comprehensive assessment of individual needs and establish care /placement plans, which we use as working documents.

• To work with children, their families and stakeholders to address offending and risk-taking behaviours through a trauma informed practice and other therapeutic interventions.

• To encourage and reinforce positive behaviours through mentoring and modelling through activities and incentives.

Additional Services:

Strides Recruitment LTD offers child and adult care solutions services to local residential children and adult homes. Strides Recruitment LTD work in partnership with providers to help cover shifts as and when required. We will take the responsibility of providing alternative shift covers away from providers. Often, providers need shift covers various reasons such as when providers require new staff for existing or new services, staff take ill or are absent due to maternity/paternity leave or other personal or emergency reasons.

Strides Recruitment LTD provides services of experienced Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Registered Managers, Deputy Managers, Care and Support workers. For our staff selection, Strides Recruitment LTD follows a robust recruitment process, thereby ensuring that we only provide experienced staff and competent team members to our customers.

Strides Recruitment LTD hold meetings with all existing and potential new providers/customers with an aim to gaining as much information as possible on their services and staffing needs. This allows us to understand and ensure we set about recruiting and placing members of staff with the relevant skills and experience to meet the provider’s staffing needs. Strides Recruitment LTD believe in working in partnership with providers and our customers toward ensuring the delivery of the best possible service and care to their clients and service users. We encourage open communication and continuous engagement that fosters a good working relationship with providers and our customers.
